My parents gave me my first camera on my 10th birthday. I remember the moment as if it was yesterday.

The way the camera glistened in the package. Pulling the black film out of the canister, and loading it until it clicked into the teeth of the camera. Snapping away, winding the film, and looking for the next perfect shot until the film clicked and would no longer advance.

Dropping off the film at this drive-thru window. It was the first drive-thru that I experienced since there was no McDonald's drive-thru. Waiting the two weeks to pick up the developed film was a test of patience. But the moment I could rip open the envelope to see the magic.

To this day it is magic to capture glimpses of ones life on film. I have been capturing emotion for 30 years, and documenting a blink of an eye has never lost the magic to me.
